76 Foot Lei for Don Ho's Memorial Service

Tiny bubbles fitting end for Ho farewell

A 76-foot lei crafted earlier today is carried out to the Diamond Head Lawn at the Sheraton Waikiki. The lei adorned a canoe for the scattering of ashes during Don Ho's memorial service.

Concert-goers blew tiny bubbles into the Waikiki night to conclude a tribute to Hawai'i entertainer Don Ho.

Honolulu police estimated the crowd at tonight's concert at 10,000 people — far less than the 25,000 that organizers had expected.

The concert ended with everyone singing "Hawai'i Pono'i," just after Ho's daughter, Hoku, sang her father's standard, "I'll Remember You."

"That was for daddy," Hoku Ho said. "I love you daddy
